Richard Hughes had a cracking day at Doncaster and celebrated his best ever season numerically by completing a 599-1 treble on the Richard Hannon pair Adventure Story and Dubai Set together with the Jeremy Noseda-trained Queen Of Pentacles.
He replaced Dane O'Neill on Adventure Story when stable companion Count Of Anjou was withdrawn and he said: "It has been a great day, I was not expecting it.
"It is a big boost when you are riding for someone like Richard (Hannon) - he sends out winners early in the year and is still doing it in November."
Fullandby gained his second win in a week and gave Tim Etherington his first Listed race success in the Best Odds Guaranteed At totesport.com Wentworth Stakes, after which the trainer said: "They have kept knocking this horse but he has been having to run on ground too fast for him.
"Alan (Munro) gave him some ride. I don't know what we will do now, I haven't looked if there is anything in Ireland for him - there is a seven-furlong race at Kempton but I am not sure I want to run him over that trip."
David Allan signed off for a four-month stint in India by winning the final race of the turf season, the Bigger 'Win Only' Odds at totesport.com Handicap on Collateral Damage.
Collateral Damage was gaining his sixth win from his last seven outings and trainer Tim Easterby said: "He has come right and has done us proud and we will think about coming back here for the Lincoln in the spring."
Andrea Atzeni has established himself as one of the best young jockeys around this season and he recorded his first success for Walter Swinburn on Jordaura in the bet totepool On 0800 221 221 Apprentice Handicap.
Swinburn said: "The prognosis for Jordaura racing again at the end of his two-year-old career was only 50-50 so our vet has done a great job with him.
"Andrea is a very good rider and he always greets the owners and has always done his homework."
O'Neill had got on the scoresheet when bringing Candy's London Gold home in front in the second division of the Bet totepool At totesport.com EBF Maiden Stakes.
Candy said: "He has the size and scope to hopefully go on next year."
