Aux Le Bahnn should be ready to start his novice chase career later this month.
A bright prospect for the Noel Chance stable, the strapping eight-year-old won all three of his races over hurdles last season, each time by a decent margin, but has not run since the start of January.
"He's OK and not far away from a run," said Chance.
"We have wanted to get him out but the ground has been so firm. I'd say he would be ready for a novice chase in about three weeks.
"We kept him for the Martin Pipe race at Cheltenham, and we didn't want to run him again after Folkestone because he would then get outside the band for the race.
"But on the Monday before Cheltenham he scoped dirty and we couldn't run after all."
