Nick Grant previews Wednesday's meetings in the UK and reckons Odin can claim victory at Lingfield.

Jamie Spencer can ride Odin to victory at Lingfield.

KEMPTON: 3.55 Modern Lady, 4.25 Hydrant, 4.55 Ring For Baileys, 5.25 Opus Cactus, 5.55 Groove On, 6.25 Beautiful Life, 6.55 Pastoral Jet.

LINGFIELD: 12.00 Temple Road, 12.30 Putin, 1.00 Murphy, 1.30 Iridescence, 2.00 You're The Boss, 2.35 Resplendent Alpha, 3.10 ODIN (NAP), 3.40 Strike Force.

LUDLOW: 12.40 Loyal Master, 1.10 Lukeys Luck, 1.40 Unforgettable, 2.10 Dark Energy, 2.45 Milo Milan, 3.15 Polly Peachum, 3.45 Garrett.

NEWBURY: 12.15 Amoralist, 12.50 Honest John, 1.20 Snake Eyes, 1.50 Five Rivers, 2.25 Rose Of The Moon, 3.00 Brassick, 3.30 Taffy Dare.

DOUBLE: Odin and Iridescence.

Odin looks sure to be a player in the 32Red Handicap at Lingfield with Jamie Spencer booked.

The Don Cantillon-trained four-year-old hung badly in a gentleman amateur riders' race at York on his last start in October, but is better judged on solid efforts earlier in the year.

Among them were a string of good runs at Newmarket, including a victory in September under Richard Hughes, where he won nicely from off the pace.

Spencer is equally adept at executing such tactics if required from just a 2lb higher mark.

It could be a good afternoon for the rider, who has every chance of a double with Iridescence in the British Stallion Studs EBF/32Red.com Maiden Fillies' Stakes.

A daughter of Dutch Art, Jeremy Noseda's youngster ran a race full of promise here last month on her sole start when she flew at the finish to take second spot.

Just normal improvement from that should make her very hard to beat.

A chance is taken on Murphy in the 32Red Supporting British Racing Handicap.

Although still a maiden after 17 career starts, he has shown ability in bumpers, over hurdles and on the Flat.

He showed enough over this course and distance last time to suggest his turn may not be far away.

Groove On is going the right way and can get off the mark at the third time of asking in the sportinglife.com Median Auction Maiden Stakes at Kempton.

He is another who was doing his best work late on when last seen and the penny seems to be dropping with the Marco Botti-trained colt.

The handicapper has probably got a grip of Ring For Baileys now but that does not mean the Chris Dwyer-trained filly will not make her presence felt in the Betdaq Mobile Apps Handicap.

She only just failed to defy an 8lb rise for a Wolverhampton win when returning to Dunstall Park last month and her record is one of admirable consistency.

Snake Eyes can make it second time lucky over obstacles in the Coolmation Maiden Hurdle on what should be an informative card at Newbury.

Nicky Henderson's four-year-old showed up well in a valuable bumper at Fairyhouse in the spring and while he suffered a short-priced defeat on his return, he deserves another chance.

A recent blow-out in an all-weather bumper will have put Unforgettable right for the Tanners Champagne Handicap Chase at Ludlow.

The Robin Dickin-trained nine-year-old is on a feasible mark after success at Huntingdon in April, a race in which all four finishers behind him have won at some point since.
