A maiden with a good recent history having fallen to the useful Field Day in 2009, Sariska in 2008 and saw Dar Re Mi finish second in 2007. The latter's trainer introduced another promising filly who attracted quotes for the Guineas on the back of a very encouraging performance where she defied a notable lack of experience having been reluctant to load. However, she broke well enough only to race a little freely without cover on the outside of the pack but she still had enough in reserve to run on well for pressure, stretching nicely clear. Her siblings haven't achieved any notable success but she's from a well-bred family and looks above average - she should stay further next season. Coplow had excuses when disappointing in a sales race and was expected to fare better which, in fairness, she did albeit bumping into one that was too good for her. She's now qualified for a mark and should come into her own over middle distances next season where she may be able to progress sufficiently to pick up some black type as a number of her siblings have done. Cockney Rhyme is another now eligible for handicaps and has progressed with each outing; there may be more to come. Balady already had an official mark of 83 but she had every chance and that appears to flatter her on this evidence although one or two runners from the stable have been running below par. Top Frock kept on well and showed more than on debut, she may be able to win races once qualified for a mark. Saaboog caught the eye on debut and should be all the better for this experience. Muzdaan, Fleur De Cactus and Proximity were all notably green but it would be no surprise to see them all fare better in time with the first two in particular both showing enough to think that they have a future next term.
