Analysis

Michelle Mullineaux: "He's a star - a lovely horse. I was second in this a few years ago and it's great to go one better. This is my first win of the season - I've been struggling for one up to now. That was my 10th winner in total so I have lost my [3lb] claim now, and it was a good way to go out. He travelled all the way and picked up when I needed him to and carried on going - I didn't realise I had won by so far. It's great for the owners."

Clive Atkinson: "It was a fantastic win. He started off so slowly and steadily, and then I said, 'he's coming, he's coming, he's coming', and I thought 'there's no way he's going to get caught - and he won so easily. Michelle rode him really well. She's a good rider and has been second in this race a couple of years ago, so she wasn't winning out of turn."
