Analysis

Ed Dunlop: "He ran very well in the King George V Handicap and for once the handicapper did something we were not expecting - by dropping him from 86 to 85. Ryan's ridden him twice and won on him both times and he's an improving horse. He was much maligned when my horses were very ill earlier this season, although he did run in the Derby Trial [when unplaced] and then he got no run when drawn on the outside at Musselburgh. It's been great to be here today to see that lovely filly [Taghrooda] win and it's possible we could take this horse for a good prize at Glorious Goodwood next Saturday, but I think that's probably a silly thing to do. Ryan reckons there's a decent handicap coming up at Haydock, but the horse will probably be going up from 85 to about 91 so we will have to look at options."
