Clive Cox: "He's always shown us plenty, which is why we didn't take the easy route and go for a maiden. He's got a wonderful temperament and we'll be looking at a mile for him next year. I think he's an exciting prospect. He's done a lot of growing so he won't be over-raced. He's the sort of horse I'd love to run in the Dewhurst (Newmarket, October 17)."

Adam Kirby: "I like him a lot. I thought we were very unlucky last time out. I felt we definitely should have finished second but he got shuffled back at a key point in the race. With a clear run, we could have given the winner something to think about. He's grown up a lot since Royal Ascot and felt better again today. Things went a lot smoother today. I couldn't have had a better ride from him. Mark Johnston's horse (Diaz) gave us a lovely lead and I was able to get a bit of cover. He quickened up nicely when I asked him and he's finished the race really well. In terms of where we go next, I'm not sure. He's not short of speed and could easily win over six again but obviously stays well as he's shown here. I think all the big races will be on his radar."

Sir Michael Stoute: "I thought that was great progress after his second run. He's a promising horse and I'd like to go a mile next time."
