Charlie Hills: "William gave him a great ride. That was the plan (to make the running) and it's nice when you get the script right. I've always liked him and knew he was capable of winning a race like this. He looked like he was going to win the Northumberland Plate and he looks like a nice horse for Australia. He'll probably go to the Mallard Stakes (September 12) next at Doncaster."
