Verdict

Though he doesn't appear entirely straightforward and is hitherto untried on turf, THE WRITER is the most appealing of these. He was just touched off on his second run in handicap company at Wolverhampton and a 2 lb rise for that near miss looks fair. Another Odyssey was fifth in that same race and may get closer to the selection with cheekpieces enlisted here, while Rita Rana and Mutara are others to consider.
