Analysis
Maiden BIG AUDIO chose a good time to break his duck as he edged out Emperor Claudius, who threw down a relentless challenge inside the final furlong. The latter did not get the best break from the stalls having received a bump but he showed huge detemination under Ryan Moore to close down the winner right to the line and just failed to peg him back. Tough luck on Moore too - this was a remarkable eighth second place for him this week. Another maiden, Party Doctor, filled the frame and lost nothing in defeat - he will pick up a good race at some stage this season for sure. Bikini Babe was in the firing line for a long way but dropped away into mid-division while American raide Honor In Peace could not sustain a very strong pace and also sunk without trace inside the final furlong.
