Analysis
This race revolved around the hot favourite Bankable, who was clearly well-in in terms of handicapping, but never really looked like winning. He got a bit stirred up in the stalls before the race and was being urged along from halfway in the rear division by Frankie Dettori. To be fair, Bankable responded and made some progress but was always fighting a losing battle and fifth was as near as he ever was to the front. MR AVIATOR was a gutsy winner and found plenty for pressure under Richard Hughes in the closing stages when challenged by Docofthebay. The latter is becoming a bit of a specialist in these big handicaps now and should continue to give a good account. Royal Power is hard to catch right but ran out of his skin while Kavachi continues at the top of his game. Lang Shining raced towards the middle of the track but seemed unsuited by the fast ground and could not pick up to any real extent under Ryan Moore. We'll Come was well fancied prior to the off but he could do no better than mid-division and was a little disappointing to be fair. They came in at pretty lengthy intervals after as the field trailed back to Fight Club.
