Analysis
After some disappointments, something for trainer Paul Nicholls to smile about as SANCTUAIRE simply ran away from a big field. Always cruising in behind the leaders, he barely had to be shaken up by Ruby Walsh to scoot away approaching the last to win by nine lengths. Notus De La Tour ran on late to take second with Orsippus, another one arriving too late to affect the result, for third and Son Amix fourth but there was only horse in the picture from a long way out.
