Analysis

Alan King had four runners-up and three thirds before the final race and he broke his duck for the week in the final contest as OH CRICK battled hard to deny the tenacious Moon Over Miami. Wayne Hutchinson gave him a good ride, nudging him up from mid-division four out before taking it up two from home. Moon Over Miami had led for the last half mile and battled well once headed but the winner had just enough left in the tank to hold him up the hill. French Opera didn't jump well at all and it was only his engine that got him into a place.
