Analysis

The Irish novices have swept all before them this week and WEAPON'S AMNESTY continued the trend with a battling success over Pride Of Dulcote. Davy Russell's charge jumped smoothly and travelled well throughout, his only moment of angst coming in the last 100 yards when idling in front. Ruby Walsh looked to be closing on the runner-up but Weapon's Amnesty found a bit more when challenged to deny the Irishman another win. The Midnight Club came from well off the pace to finish third, while On Raglan Road had every chance at the last but got caught for a place on the run-in.
