Analysis

Graham Gibbons: "I wish I could ride 10 of him every day. He's an absolute saint - I'd put my son or daughter on him - and he puts 110 per cent into his job every time."

David Barron: "When he ran at York in July the ground was plenty quick enough and last time he ran badly at Goodwood for the second time, so we'll give there a miss with him in future. After that we just left him at home until the right race on the right ground came along. He's in the Cambridgeshire, which is a possibility, and also in the big handicap at Newbury next weekend. We'll see how he is, but he's had a light season; we've left him alone purposely. He's had a couple of blips but there are not many horses who go through life without. But his ability has always been there."
