Analysis

Spanish Bounty made the early running at a strong pace down the centre of the track and he was able to sustain this quick tempo until the finish, seeing off all comers. Spitfire was a constant threat towards the far side but was always being held by the leader. Tawaash kept on well in the final two furlongs but was unable to quicken in the closing stages and held on grimly for third from the fast-finishing pair Dohasa and Royal Intruder.
