Analysis

Brian Ellison: "The other horse (El Massivo) was running a good race, but he would have finished second. The winner wasn't stopping. It was a bit of a novicey fall, but I was delighted with how he ran up until then and on that showing he'll win races. Yorkist is just in really good form with himself at the moment and when you consider Nathan said he hated the ground, it was a good performance. We'll look forward to running him on a bit of better ground and he'll go novice chasing eventually. We've already schooled him and he jumps very well."
