Analysis

Adam Kirby: "He's rapid and he's real fun to ride. He's got bags of boot, which is a real good buzz. He battled back and I was surprised as I thought he'd just about had it."

Tony Carroll: "It means a lot, especially for the team at home. It's been the plan to come here for a while as he won here before. He's not bred to be a sprinter, he's bred to be a mile-and-a-half horse really, so he's a bit of a freak. He's got this incredible speed. There's a nice race at Musselburgh in 10 days' time, we could look at that as an option."

Clive Cox: "It really is fine margins in races like this! He's run a super race though as he's hung down the hill until the last half a furlong when he's run on really well. I'm very proud of him and he's improved a lot over the winter. We've got options with him now though. I think this will end up being his trip as he ran well here last year over six furlongs but was travelling that well that he just got himself into a bit of trouble. We'll see where we go now. He's in the Wokingham (at Royal Ascot) but he's grown up mentally so much that I've a feeling we might have to set our sights higher in the future. He's one to look forward to."
