Analysis

James Eustace: "I loved him when I saw him, and I think he's still the most expensive Kirkwall (35,000 guineas), who was a good stallion who didn't get the opportunities. It was a risk trying a mile and five but he's a long-striding horse and Luke said he might even get a mile and six. He'll have a break at the end of the all-weather season and go back to Sandown in the summer."
