Analysis

Ger Lyons: "He got all the breaks. He's a nice horse and Colin said that's as slow as he wants the ground. It was a lovely day to give him a blow out. He has an entry for the Royal Hunt Cup and there was no point going to Ascot unless he was in that frame of mind. Hopefully he comes out of that OK and we'll discuss Ascot with David Spratt (owner). He travels really well and is a really smart horse on his day. He's had two racecourse gallops and we knew he was in a good place. There was no way we were going to Ascot fresh. It was a nice pipe-opener and we'll see if he's good enough now."
