Muthmir ran out an easy winner of the Sky Bet Dash, justifying heavy market support that saw him sent off the 4/1 favourite.

Backed all day, the William Haggas trained four-year-old could be called the likely winner of this competitive event at halfway, coasting in mid-division behind the strong gallop set by trailblazers See The Sun and Kimberella.
When asked to pick up by jockey Graham Lee the response was not instantaneous, but he settled the issue quickly once the whip was drawn and cleared away to record a decisive one-and-a-half-length success.
Goldream (12/1) looked the only danger a couple of furlongs out and stuck on admirably for second but had no answer to the winner.
Rene Mathis (16/1) caught the eye with a fast finishing effort for third having looked sure to settle for a mid division finish and Zalty (8/1) also emerged with credit, filling out the frame despite coming under pressure very early and racing with little company right next to the far rail.
Maureen Haggas, representing her husband William, said that a quick return to action in next week's 32Red [Stewards'] Cup at Goodwood was not out of the question.
"He's always been a good horse but things haven't gone right for him," she said. "It would be a bit of an ask to give him two races in a week, but he hasn't had a hard life."
Sky Bet cut the winner to 6/1 favourite from 14/1 for the Goodwood race.
