Rocky Creek (7/4) ran out a smooth winner of the Betfred Mobile Lotto Novices' Chase at Warwick to make it two wins from three starts over fences.

The three mile contest has been won by some useful types in the past with D'Argent, L'Ami and Halcon Genelardais among recent scorers and Sky Bet were sufficiently impressed with the Paul Nicholls trained winner to cut his odds to 10/1 from 16s for the RSA Chase at Cheltenham.
Held-up in rear for much of the first circuit, he was always travelling well for Daryl Jacob with the quintet closely grouped until four from home.
Market leader Highland Lodge - who hadn't jumped the back straight fences well on the first occasion - and Rocky Creek moved to the front approaching the home turn with Tour Des Champs working hard to cling to their coat tails.
The latter fell two from home, hampering and unseating Forgotten Gold, when looking held and Rocky Creek readily left the favourite behind to score by 15 lengths from Fill The Power.
The favourite had disappointed on this card 12 months ago and his trainer, Emma Lavelle, had expressed reservations about returning to this left-handed circuit and her fears ultimately proved well founded as the seven year old stopped to a walk after the last.
Jacob believes the winner could be a factor in the RSA given the right underfoot conditions and said: "I had the favourite covered and just wanted him to give me a lead into the straight before pressing on.
"He's a horse for the future and will be a truly super chaser in time. He's a possible Cheltenham horse for sure providing the ground there isn't too quick."
