This Grade Two heat was reduced to a match between the winner and Baily Green after the 8-15 favourite Oscars Well fell at the second fence when barely leaving the ground and hampering the other runner, Jenari, who was soon detached having never gone a yard afterwards.
Ruby Walsh allowed the Willie Mullins-trained five-year-old to do his own thing in front, though Baily Green was never far away.
- Profiles
An untidy jump at the last appeared to let in Baily Green, but Twinlight rallied in determined fashion to end the latter's seven-race winning streak and complete his own hat-trick.
Walsh told At The Races: "He's making me a believer of him now. "He battled back well to win again.
"He jumped super apart from the last two, but he was a bit tired by then, and so was the runner-up, but it was a good pot to win with him."
