Twinlight (9-1) put up a game display when making virtually all of the running in the AGK Displays Craddockstown Novice Chase.

Twinlight: Turning Ruby Walsh into a believer
Twinlight: Turning Ruby Walsh into a believer

This Grade Two heat was reduced to a match between the winner and Baily Green after the 8-15 favourite Oscars Well fell at the second fence when barely leaving the ground and hampering the other runner, Jenari, who was soon detached having never gone a yard afterwards.

Ruby Walsh allowed the Willie Mullins-trained five-year-old to do his own thing in front, though Baily Green was never far away.

An untidy jump at the last appeared to let in Baily Green, but Twinlight rallied in determined fashion to end the latter's seven-race winning streak and complete his own hat-trick.

Walsh told At The Races: "He's making me a believer of him now. "He battled back well to win again.

"He jumped super apart from the last two, but he was a bit tired by then, and so was the runner-up, but it was a good pot to win with him."
