GOLDAN JESS has gone close on his last couple of starts over track and trip. Philip Kirby's charge found Stormy Morning too good when third on his latest start but had the measure of today's rival Dane Cottage and won't need to find much improvement to get his head in front in this. Party Palace also made the frame at this track earlier this month but over 1m6f and El Bravo could also get involved if lasting home as he scored over 1m4f here in December and this looks less competitive.
