In depth
Verdict
SHORT GRASS can take this as though he has only shown a modicum of ability it didn't prevent a plunge on his recent start at Clonmel. That wasn't the first time he's been well backed and his supporters will be getting despondent as he was beaten fairly and squarely by Chu Chu Thomas. The assessor has given him another 3lb but Rating Queen, who was over 5l behind Chu Chu Thomas at Clonmel earlier, has plenty to do on a line through the winner as does World Citizen, who finished fourth when the selection was runner-up. Littletown Lass has had a couple of recent runs over fences but hasn't looked happy and should be more at home back over timber. She's not badly treated and will like the conditions while Serra Nova is better than he showed at Punchestown last time.
