Those to have seen a racecourse are entitled to improve, with Irish raider SPLIT THE ATOM making most appeal after finishing behind the highly-touted War Envoy on debut at Naas when running exceptionally green. He should be far straighter now and is a hopeful choice. There are some potentially interesting newcomers on show with Subversive worthy of respect as a son of Invincible Spirit and bred by the powerful Darley operation. Sandgate and Dragon King are other first-timers to note, hailing from the yards of Fahey and Dods respectively, both of whom have been in good form with two-year-olds so far this season. Obviously the market should help to sort out the aforementioned trio as they all represent teams with plenty of ammunition in this division and thus enjoy a good line to juvenile form.
