Verdict

Marmot Bay has won three times in her career, all over this track and trip. She very nearly added a Lingfield victory to that score on Saturday, just failing to hold off the late challenge of Windforpower, and as that was over the minimum trip the winner, who is better over today's distance, can confirm the form. However, he was put in his place by HIDDON COIN when they met here earlier this month and David O'Meara's charge, who was returning from a long break, looks to have plenty going for him and is handed the vote. Hillbilly Boy scored at Ripon last May and is taking a drop in grade so shouldn't be dismissed.
