In depth
Verdict
Plenty of major yards come to the party here, although there's little actual solid form to assess. As usual, Mark Johnston is mopping up plenty of all-weather maidens with choicely-bred sorts and BAILEYS STRIDER could add to the tally. He'll need to improve on an ordinary debut fifth at Wolverhampton but did run green and wasn't beaten far. He was sent off favourite that day and is taken to come on sufficiently to score here with that experience under his belt. Boots And Spurs has the benefit of a recent run in France when not disgraced whilst Cutting It Fine, Yajber and Zowaina are all potential improvers. The latter looked especially open to progress last time. Noosa Boy and Chronic Flame are interesting newcomers in a contest where the market could prove most informative.
