Both Arrayan and STOW arrive in decent form considering this is a seller. Alex Dunn's gelding easily won a claimer at Ludlow earlier this month while Michael Blake's charge won at Leicester and Fakenham before finding only The Jugopolist too good back at Leicester last time. Neither will mind the ground but the latter is probably the stronger stayer and, rated a couple of pounds higher, gets a narrow vote. Sir Dylan had an outing on the Fibresand recently but finished tailed off and has a mountain to climb at the weights.
Stow 5-4fav (11-5) Prominent, lost place and pushed along briefly 4th, closed when bumped just after next, ridden approaching last (normal 3 out), no impression on winner towards finish, 2nd of 6, 4l behind The Jugopolist (10-10) at Leicester 2m 4f sell hdl (5) hvy in Jan.
Arrayan 7-2 (11-3) Keen early, tracked leader, led and came towards stands' side rail before 3 out, clear next, ridden out, comfortably, won at Ludlow 2m clm hdl (4) hvy beating Islandmagee (10-10) by 18l, 5 ran.
Fruity Bun 100-1 (10-0) Always behind, struggling 4 out, tailed off, 6th of 8, 35l behind Goodwood Mirage (10-12) at Kempton 2m 4yo hdl (4) sft in Jan.
Sedgemoor Top Bid (IRE) 66-1 (10-6) Tracked leaders on inside, ridden and lost place before 3rd, well beaten after 6th, tailed off, 7th of 8, well behind The Happy Warrior (10-0) at Exeter 2m 3f hcp hdl 0-110 (4) hvy.
Sir Dylan 8-1 (10-6) Held up towards rear, took keen hold, chased leader before 4th, soon left in lead, ridden and headed before 2 out, no chance with winner, 2nd of 7, 38l behind Orthodox Lad (10-12) at Fontwell 2m 2f nh nov hdl (4) gd in Sep.
Vineman 50-1 (11-2) Tracked leader, led after 1st, ran very wide and unseated rider through rails, in a race won by Cogry (11-8) at Warwick 2m 3f NH nov hdl (4-7yo) (4) sft, 7 ran.
