Verdict
Winning point-to-pointer Bowfinger was beaten a long way into third at Thurles last time and doesn't look well treated for his handicap debut. Shattered Dream hasn't had much experience and should be capable of better than he's shown to date while Peace In The West ran easily his best race to date over 2m4f here last time and is progressing enough to give a good account. Maccas Lad is consistent enough and this longer trip could bring about some improvement but this can go to DUNROE BOY. John Carr's charge finished a close second over the course and distance last month but was disqualified and placed fourth. He ran poorly when favourite over fences at Clonmel last week but this is much more to his liking and he can gain his fourth victory over timber.
