In depth
Verdict
KILLCARA BOY was probably a little unfortunate not to score at Clonmel last time after a last-fence error. That was only his fourth start over fences and with normal progress he can defy a 3lb rise in the weights. Yeoman gained his only victory in 18 starts over fences at Galway in October and off just 5lb higher he can make his presence felt though it's Ponmeword who looks the main danger. He's still a maiden after 21 career starts but hasn't been running badly and he looks on a very lenient mark. Ardglen wears blinkers for the first time after a poor effort at Fairyhouse though he found the trip much too far that day and this should be much more to his liking.
