In depth
Verdict
WHISKEY AND RED, an easy winner when well supported at Thurles last month, completed a double on the same track on Sunday and looks to have been found a simple opportunity for the hat-trick, especially with his rider's claim a major plus. Most of his rivals are out of form though Nivek's Dream ran his best race for some time at Thurles last month and has dropped to a very lowly mark. Take A Shot has struggled at the weights since completing a hat-trick last year though he's been dropped 3lb since his latest run and can reach the frame with Dunroe Boy, whose best runs over fences would put him in the picture, likely to prove the pick of the remainder.
