In depth
Verdict
Not the best of races to have in the middle of a cracking card but that won't concern connections of the penalised pair Baltimoar and MISTER PAGAN. The former, a winning point-to-pointer, will be fancied to follow-up his victory at Carlisle where he spent the latter part of the race wandering around through inexperience. That will have brought him on but it's Jim Goldie's Perth winner who is handed the vote as he produced a tremendous effort in what looked a very strong event won by Broadway Buffalo at Aintree last month. The newcomers Ballyben and Pro Valour have it all to do while Danehills Well, fourth in a point-to-point in Ireland in March, will do better when facing a set of obstacles.
