This looks a tricky finale as the four-year-old Ulck Du Lin has been raised 10lb for an easy win at Newbury. Gus Macrae was only fifth that day and is another who may be in the handicapper's grip now but the heavy ground should suit Taunton winner Majala, though the second in that race has let the form down since. MY BROTHER SYLVESTE finished ahead of the frustrating Vino Griego over a longer trip at Market Rasen last month and has since run Mentalist to three-quarters-of-a-length at Ludlow when conceding plenty of weight. Providing he handles the going, David Pipe's charge is expected to go close here. Stablemare El Lobo has scope but this is his first run for a year, though the booking of McCoy is interesting and he makes more appeal than top weight Falcon Island.
