SOUL INTENT found a nice turn of foot to edge out Half A Pulse by half-a-length over course and distance last month. John Hills' colt is only a pound worse off today and can confirm that form and record a third career success. Crème Anglaise came right back to form at Newmarket three weeks ago and is still well handicapped on her form of a couple of years ago. She'll be a danger if taking to the Polytrack but the handicapper appears to have a firm grip on The Lock Master while Halfsin has been largely disappointing this year. This trip has proved beyond Woody Bay in the past.
Fujin Dancer (FR) 11-4 (9-7) Held up in touch in rear, effort over 1f out, soon hampered, no impression inside final furlong, soon eased, 3rd of 6, 7l behind Vita Lika (8-12) at Newmarket 1m 2f hcp (6) gf in Sep '11.

Halfsin (IRE) 14-1 (9-7) Held up, came centre 7f out, headway to chase leader 3f out, ridden and hung left entering final 2f, weakened final furlong, 5th of 9, 13l behind Miss Dashwood (9-1) at Newmarket 1m 4f hcp 0-85 (4) gd in Aug.
Woody Bay 20-1 (9-0) Held up in mid-division on inside, headway to 3rd over 3f out, driven and not quicken over 1f out, kept on same pace final furlong, 3rd of 12, 2l behind Cayuga (9-5) at Kempton 1m hcp 0-80 (4) pol in Oct.

The Lock Master (IRE) 33-1 (8-13) Chased leader 2f, chased leaders, pushed along over 3f out, outpaced over 2f out, no danger after, 5th of 8, 10l behind Come On Blue Chip (9-0) at Wolverhampton 1m 1f hcp 0-95 (3) pol.
