Verdict

Storm Runner, the only previous C&D winner in the second division of this handicap, stayed on late at Kempton last month, finishing ahead of Exopuntia and Querido in the process. George Margarson's gelding has every chance here while Squirrel Wood should also go close if reproducing her latest third at the same track. BAHRI SHEEN blew the start at Kempton last time but stayed on strongly in the closing stages to get to within three quarters-of-a-length of Circuitous. Custom House was only sixth and John Best's gelding can go one better here.
