Barton Gift was an easy winner at Exeter last month but he'll do well to double up here off a 19lb higher mark. Mighty Mobb has shown promise in both starts over fences and could be well handicapped while Badgers Cove races off the same mark as when second at Southwell, though is a lot more exposed than most. We'll take a chance on NO DUFFER, who gave the impression a step up in distance would suit when a staying-on third off a higher mark at Haydock last time. Taunton runner-up Water Wagtail is another with decent claims while Basford Ben finished ahead of Mighty Mobb at Wetherby last month and is another to consider in an open race.
No Duffer 6-1 (10-5) Chased leaders, went 2nd 7th until 4 out, 3rd when not fluent last, kept on same pace flat, 3rd of 6, 5l behind Bobcatbilly (10-8) at Haydock 2m 4f nov hcp chs 0-125 (3) hvy in Dec.

Basford Ben 5-1 (11-4) Behind, driven before 9th, soon in rear and struggling, ridden and stayed on from before 2 out, no impression, 3rd of 8, 22l behind Fozy Moss (10-4) at Carlisle 3m nov hcp chs 0-115 (4) hvy.
Badgers Cove (IRE) 3-1fav (11-8) Held up behind on outside, in touch 11th, hit and reminder 12th, ridden and 7 lengths down in 3rd when left 2nd at 17th, closed on winner before 3 out, kept on same pace from next, always held, 2nd of 7, 3 1/2l behind High Ron (11-7) at Southwell 3m 2f hcp ch 0-110 (4) hvy in Jan.
