In depth
Verdict
The last two renewals have been won by 25/1 chances so punters beware. Super Vic was engaged at Punchestown yesterday where she looked to have a good chance so her progress should be monitored. FIERY OSCAR has a big weight to carry though Colm Sweeney's claim is a bonus and, if anywhere near the form that saw him give the well-supported Whiskey And Rye a fright here a fortnight ago, he looks the one to be on. Battlemount finished fourth in that latter event and looks held though that was his first sign of form for some time and he could get closer. The veteran Korean is returning after a very long break but came close to winning this a year ago so shouldn't be dismissed while another veteran, course and distance winner Buck Breeze, has dropped to his lowest mark on his 29th start over hurdles.
