Verdict
Dual bumper winner Shanen made a promising debut over hurdles at this track and is worthy of consideration despite having finished a well beaten second in a handicap last time. Dreams Of Milan couldn't cope with a penalty at Catterick on his latest start having scored at Uttoxeter before that and ISLA PEARL FISHER is preferred. The winning chaser hasn't raced over hurdles since 2009 but should have too much for today's opposition if running anywhere near the level of his form over fences.
