Verdict
Malanos scored at Huntingdon in the spring and had a run on the Flat to put him straight though he was beaten a long way. He still looks the best of Tony Carroll's trio with Lee Edwards in the saddle but Getting Ready looks a few pounds high for his handicap debut while Minsky Mine, though in fair form on the level recently, ran poorly the last time he started over timber. This shouldn't take much winning so OPEN DAY, who has generally competed at a much higher level and has dropped to a very favourable mark, can score for Jonjo O'Neill and AP McCoy. Aegean Dynasty looks best of the remainder from the bottom of the weights.
