Verdict

Fortrose Academy just managed to hold off the attentions of Lastkingofscotland when scoring at Kempton last time. The latter has subsequently finished second yet again while Button Moon is another treading water off her current mark. Sweet Ovation and Catalinas Diamond are C&D winners struggling for their best form but Stepturn is lightly-raced and capable of better. CARDINAL won twice during the summer and can race off a lower mark for the first time since. Robert Cowell's sprinter gets the vote to return to winning ways in this.
