Verdict

ARTIC NIGHT makes plenty of appeal in this. He will have needed his run at Towcester two weeks ago and won off a 2lb higher mark on heavy ground at Carlisle around this time last year. Boomtown's hat-trick bid fell flat at Doncaster last month and he's high enough in the weights again now but Stravita should go well under McCoy after winning by 12 lengths at Hereford. She's 8lb higher now, however. Nicene Creed looks a shadow of his former self while Achieved, second over 2m2f here last time, is carrying 5lb more than his allotted weight though does have a 7lb claimer on board.
