Balmont Flyer makes his hurdling debut and a quick reappearance after finishing third at Dundalk on Friday. Merrion Row won a Galway bumper on good ground in August and has performed well over timber in softer conditions. BLACK SPOT ON could hardly have done any better when third behind two useful rivals in Daneking and Drumlee at Navan a month ago and will be unlucky to come up against anything as good here. He should gain his first victory, though Tulsa Jack is the type to improve over hurdles after a good run in a Cork bumper last time. The Chief Villain showed his first sign of ability when sent to Kelso last time and looks best of the remainder.
