Verdict
Only 6lb separates the field but this is less competitive than it looks at first glance. Hallstatt has the form to figure but hasn't raced since June last year while Reasons Unknown has plenty to prove over the longer distance and With Hindsight is 11lb higher than his win at Kempton in January. Brunello has done most of his racing and recorded his only win so far at Southwell and that leaves BLAZING DESERT. Well beaten over hurdles last time, he followed-up a victory here with a close-up second to Waving last month and makes most appeal in this.
