In depth
Verdict
Jamhoori hasn't run over a trip this short since his juvenile days but was well clear at today's distance when attempting to make all over a mile last time. A poor draw hampers his chances this time and he has to take on a battalion of entries from the yard of Satish Seemar. DUBAI ICONIC may prove best of that quartet and can take this as he bounced back to form with a narrow defeat by Discoverer here last week when Commander Cave, who isn't exactly prolific but pops up every now and then, close behind - Kieren Fallon is an interesting booking for the latter. Ritual and Al Razi are both in good shape and fought out the finish of a 6f handicap at Jebel Ali a month ago. The latter came out on top that time and has followed up in a handicap over the same trip though he has no problems staying the extra furlong. Need To Know was put in his place by the selection here a year ago and is no better off but Chepstow maiden winner Keyaadi will be better for his run a fortnight ago, his first since August, and is on the short-list.
