Verdict

Nothing to get excited about in this opening event. West Side and Delightful Sleep may not have looked like winning of late but they're both capable of figuring at this level while Northern Spy finished a bit closer in this grade over 7f here a week ago and has claims on that form. QUERIDO pops up occasionally and, given he's racing off a lower mark than when winning last year's renewal, Paddy Butler's charge gets a speculative vote.
