APT APPROACH has attained a rating of 148 over fences and though he ran poorly at Aintree and Punchestown on his final two starts in April he's a genuine class act and can take this before reverting to fences. The Bishop Looney is also much better know for his exploits over the bigger obstacles but he's very useful over timber and is tried in first-time blinkers. Gates Of Rome hasn't run over timber since April 2010 and would have something to find with the selection on chase ratings while French recruit Earlson Gray will probably be going chasing in the near future though he's shown a reasonable level of form over timber.
