Andy Kelly should go well back against novices and makes more appeal than Masquerade, who was a little disappointing at Sedgefield last time. Couldhavehaditall hasn't progressed as expected and Lemony Bay was well beaten stepped up in trip at Doncaster, though had finished second to a useful novice over 2m1f on Town Moor earlier. NED STARK hasn't raced since finishing second to Mosspark at Exeter in November but the winner went on to land a Listed race at Huntingdon before contesting the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham earlier this week and Alan King's six-year-old should go one better here getting 6lb from the two previous winners.
Ned Stark (IRE) 7-1 (10-12) Held up in touch on inside, not fluent 2nd, switched left before 3 out, every chance when not fluent next, stayed on same pace flat, 2nd of 17, 2l behind Mosspark (10-12) at Exeter 2m 5f nh nov hdl (4) sft in Nov.
Andy Kelly (IRE) 4-1 (11-0) Edgy in prelims, prominent, led after 2nd until after 5th, chased leaders, every chance 3 out, soon pushed along, hung left and no extra approaching 2 out, 5th and beaten when fell last, in a race won by Upswing (11-1) at Newbury 3m hcp hdl 0-145 (2) hvy in Feb, 10 ran.
Withoutdefavourite (IRE) 33-1 (10-12) Always towards rear, hit 5th, tailed off when went left 2 out, 8th of 13, well behind Big Hands Harry (10-12) at Newbury 2m 5f nov hdl (4) hvy in Feb.
Generous Helpings (IRE) Generous gelding out of Saffron Pride.
Royal Ripple (IRE) 33-1 (11-4) Held up in touch, ridden 2f out, kept on same pace inside final furlong, 6th of 16, 6l behind Clondaw Banker (10-13) at Kempton 2m n h flat (4) std in Jan.
Masquerade (IRE) 5-2 (11-11) Led, headed last, ridden and no extra run-in, 3rd of 8, 12l behind Getabuzz (11-11) at Sedgefield 2m 4f nh nov hdl (4) hvy in Jan.
Lemony Bay 5-1 (10-12) Chased leaders, led 4th hampered by loose horse next, headed approaching 3 out, mistake 3 out, weakened before next, 14th of 21, 49l behind Oscar Hoof (10-12) at Doncaster 2m 3f nov hdl (4) gs in Dec.
Road To Freedom 66-1 (11-2) Held up towards rear, ridden over 2f out, soon weakened, 8th of 10, 19l behind Zeroeshadesofgrey (11-6) at Doncaster 2m NH flat (6) gs in Feb.
Blue Bear (IRE) 66-1 (10-12) Tracked leaders, weakened after 3 out, left poor 4th next, 4th of 7, 24l behind Wither Yenot (10-5) at Plumpton 2m 5f nov hdl (4) gs in Nov.
Couldhavehaditall (IRE) 25-1 (11-2) Raced wide chasing leaders, pushed along over 4f out, weakened 3f out, tailed off, 12th of 15, 24l behind Presenting Arms (10-9) at Kempton 2m 2f n h flat (4) std in Feb.
