Another tight-looking handicap with waltzing Tornado stepping up two grades after rattling up a hat-trick last month. French mare Yellow Ball has her first start for Venetia Williams off a stiff enough mark but Fontwell winner Colebrooke has scope and has to go on the short-list while Via Sundown won easily over course and distance last month, though has been raised a massive 13lb. Shuil Royale has ability but doesn't always show it but Ultragold's second to Samingarry at Exeter has been franked and he should be thereabouts again. WHO OWNS ME stays well and won off a higher mark over hurdles last season. He has every chance of reversing Fontwell running with Colebrooke on 9lb better terms so gets a tentative vote.
Who Owns Me (IRE) 9-2 (10-5) Tracked leader to 7th, reminders before 4 out, blundered next, went 3rd before last, kept on same pace, 3rd of 6, 11l behind Colebrooke (10-2) at Fontwell 2m 6f (3) hvy in Nov.
Via Sundown (FR) 5-4fav (11-7) Held up in rear, headway 11th to chase leaders next, joined leaders 13th, led 14th, headed before 3 out, led again 3 out, clear from 2 out, went further clear from last, easily, won at Lingfield 3m hcp chs 0-115 (4) hvy in Nov beating Royal Riviera (11-3) by 9l, 6 ran.
Shuil Royale (IRE) 6-1 (11-6) Prominent, jumped slowly 4th, reminder before 13th, outpaced after 4 out, no impression when mistake next, mistake 2 out, plugged on, 5th of 7, 10l behind Fine Parchment (11-5) at Sandown 3m hcp chs 0-125 (3) sft in Nov.
Ultragold (FR) 13-2 (11-7) In touch, effort 3 out, kept on under pressure after last, never reached winner, 2nd of 9, 2 1/2l behind Samingarry (10-13) at Exeter 3m hcp chs 0-125 (3) gd in Nov.
Master Neo (FR) 18-1 (11-6) Led, hit 11th, ridden and headed before 2 out, soon weakened, 6th of 12, 43l behind Well Refreshed (11-1) at Plumpton 3m 5f hcp chs 0-130 (3) sft in Jan.
Waltzing Tornado (IRE) 5-6fav (11-13) Held up in touch on outside, smooth headway 3 out, challenged and going well next, not fluent last, pushed into narrow lead flat, cheekily, won at Towcester 2m 6f am hcp ch 0-95 (5) gs in Nov beating Von Galen (10-7) by 1 1/4l, 7 ran.
Yellow Ball (FR) 28-1 (10-4) won at Auteuil(FR) 2m 2f hcp chs gs in May beating Sidi Bouknadel (11-4) by 3l, 14 ran.
Colebrooke 10-1 (10-2) In touch in 4th, went 2nd before 2 out, led 2 out, kept on well from last, won at Fontwell 2m 6f (3) hvy in Nov beating Loose Chips (11-5) by 7l, 6 ran.
