Both Melvin The Grate and Zeus Magic found only one too good on their respective debuts. They look up to landing a race of this nature racing from opposite sides of the draw but WATCHEROFTHESKIES is just preferred. He split a couple of Newmarket raiders when runner-up at Lingfield earlier this month and normal progress should see him bang there at the finish. One Pekan cost 125,000gns as a two-year-old and is worth noting on his debut along with Speronella and Captain Starlight, a half-brother to a winner on the all-weather.
